Privacy Policy — Ovarc Salary Calculator

1. Who we are

The Ovarc Salary Calculator is a free mobile app published by Ovarc (hello@ovarc.io), a PROFOLIO LLC company. It is a simple tool that estimates take-home pay. It is not the Ovarc payroll platform, does not provide an account, and is not a paid product.

2. Scope

This privacy policy applies only to the Ovarc Salary Calculator iOS application. It does not cover ovarc.io, app.ovarc.io, or other Ovarc products.

3. We do not collect personal information

The app does not ask you to create an account and does not collect:

• Name, email address, phone number, or other contact details
• Location, contacts, photos, or other device identifiers for advertising
• Payment information (the app is free and has no in-app purchases)
• A history of your salary calculations tied to you as a user

4. How a calculation works

When you tap to calculate, the app sends a request to Ovarc's API, which computes the estimate and returns it immediately. The request carries only the figures you entered for that calculation and nothing that identifies you.

We do not use these requests to build a profile, and we do not keep your calculations as a user record or calculation history. The API exists solely to answer the request in front of it.

5. Information kept on your device

The app stores your selected language preference on your device so it can open in the same language next time. This preference stays on the device, is not uploaded to Ovarc, and can be removed by clearing the app's local storage or uninstalling the app.

6. Technical operation of the service

Like most internet services, delivering the API response may involve standard operational processing so the request can be answered. We do not sell this information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with a user account — the app has none.

7. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The app does not include advertising SDKs and does not use the calculation feature to track you across other apps or websites. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-app tracking.

8. Children

The app is a general-audience salary estimator and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Third parties

Calculation requests are sent to Ovarc-operated servers. We do not provide your calculation inputs to advertisers or data brokers. Apple, Google, or your device maker may process information under their own policies when you download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

10. Changes

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
